Disclose, separate, or decline
Contributors disclose financial, employment, ownership, family, close personal, creative, or competitive relationships that could reasonably affect the work. The response is proportionate: disclose a manageable relationship, assign an independent reviewer when separation can solve it, or decline the work when the conflict is disqualifying.
- A contributor does not review or score their own work.
- Everlore ownership and staff relationships are stated plainly.
- A subject, advertiser, affiliate partner, publisher, or review-copy provider cannot buy a conclusion, link, list position, correction decision, or advance approval.
- Embargo access may set a publication time; it does not grant editorial control.
