Live commercial inventory
The Grimoire currently sells no sponsorship or advertising inventory. Its only active funding base case is owner-funded core publishing plus clearly disclosed Everlore publisher lift. Commercial results cannot set coverage, review scores, list eligibility or order, links, corrections, criticism, or prominence.
Database state: closed pending review. Policy version 1 took effect 2026-07-27; the next evidence review is 2026-08-26.
- Display or other advertising — deferred; inventory closed. No reader-demand, traffic, frequency, privacy, accessibility, performance, pricing, claims, or legal evidence justifies advertising.
- Disclosed affiliate links — deferred; inventory closed. The Grimoire currently has no approved affiliate purchase link and no Grimoire-attributed affiliate referral or payout evidence.
- Event or readalong sponsorship — blocked; inventory closed. No real event, participant, registration authorization, consent, moderation, accessible stream, transcript, or evergreen artifact exists.
- Reader membership or support — deferred; inventory closed. No demand evidence justifies accounts, payment operations, member support, moderation, or a recurring reader promise.
- Newsletter sponsorship — blocked; inventory closed. Editorial newsletter external delivery is disabled and production contains zero subscribers, sends, or observed deliverability denominators.
- Disclosed publisher lift — active owned base case; inventory closed. Existing Everlore-owned book, author, and publisher-package paths may remain active with unmistakable ownership labels and no paid media. This is not sponsorship inventory.
- Research underwriting — blocked; inventory closed. GRI-056 is dependency-blocked and no methodology, dataset, source cohort, reviewer, underwriting agreement, or report exists.
- Research or editorial services — deferred; inventory closed. No defined offer, scope, client boundary, capacity allocation, contract, price, or conflict process exists.
- Clearly labeled sponsored article — blocked; inventory closed. No sponsorship agreement, legal approval, priced inventory, sponsor, approved creative, or complete global-release evidence exists.
Current sale status
The Grimoire currently sells no sponsorship, advertising, affiliate editorial placement, newsletter placement, event placement, membership, research underwriting, or editorial-service inventory. The only active funding base case is owner-funded core publishing plus clearly disclosed Everlore publisher lift on Everlore-owned pages. That owned path is not outside inventory and is not an independent review.
A future commercial format stays closed until a current policy, complete cost case, owner approval, editorial-independence approval, legal review, and an explicit external-sale authorization are recorded. An unavailable price, cost, contract, right, or approval remains unknown; it is never converted into an invented margin or implied permission.
Editorial and commercial separation
Commercial records are separate from story selection, review evidence, scores, list eligibility and order, corrections, criticism, and prominence. A sponsor, advertiser, affiliate partner, publisher, author, or Everlore sales result cannot write to or override those editorial records.
- Payment never qualifies a work for coverage, a review, a score, a list, or a link.
- A contributor never reviews or scores their own work, and Everlore-owned work never receives an ordinary in-house score.
- Commercial results are reported only as aggregate exposure, referral, conversion, revenue, and fully loaded cost evidence; a missing denominator produces no rate.
- A commercial counterparty may correct a factual statement about itself but cannot approve a conclusion, suppress a material caveat, delay a correction, or buy advance editorial review.
Affiliate links
No Grimoire affiliate link is currently approved. If this format is later authorized, a link may earn Everlore Hollow a commission after a purchase. It may be added only after editorial selection, must be labeled near the relevant recommendation, and must use the required sponsored or nofollow qualification. Availability of an affiliate program never qualifies a work for coverage or improves its placement.
Sponsored work
No sponsored work is currently for sale. A future unit can proceed only under a separate written contract and a complete release record covering price, fully loaded cost, disclosure, creative limits, privacy, accessibility, performance, frequency, claims and asset rights, link qualification, cancellation, make-good terms, and the global release gate.
Sponsored material must be unmistakably labeled before the reader enters it and throughout the unit where context requires. It cannot imitate an independent review, carry a Grimoire score, enter an editorial list through payment, purchase a followed SEO link, use behavioral targeting, or conceal the relationship.
Everlore house coverage
The Grimoire is published by Everlore Hollow. Articles about Everlore products, operations, or stories are labeled as house-related work and are not represented as independent reviews.
Reader experience and prohibited categories
Any future commercial unit must preserve the reading experience: semantic and keyboard-accessible presentation, readable contrast and zoom, no essential inaccessible media, no blocking third-party script, no reader-level commercial profile, and no more than the approved frequency cap. Creative claims and assets require documented substantiation and rights.
The Grimoire will not accept deceptive, discriminatory, exploitative, illegal, privacy-invasive, malware, political-campaign, weapons, tobacco or nicotine, gambling, adult sexual-services, or unsubstantiated health or financial-claim advertising. A category may also be declined when the conflict, safety burden, reader harm, or operational cost cannot be responsibly controlled.
Pricing, remedies, and evidence
A price is viable only when projected revenue exceeds contributor pay, editing, art, legal, email, event, infrastructure, author support, and owner opportunity cost at the unit’s actual scope. The current owner-funded path has zero paid-media spend, but owner editing and opportunity cost are not yet fully priced, so The Grimoire makes no positive-margin claim.
Every future contract must state cancellation and make-good terms. The remedy may be a refund or an equivalent clearly disclosed placement; it can never be editorial coverage, a score, a list position, a correction decision, reader identity data, or a followed link.
